Germán Mazzocchetti
Mr. Mazzocchetti has more than 20 years of direct experience in real estate investments with private and institutional capital in USA (Chicago), Europe (UK, Romania and Ukraine), and LATAM (Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay). Mr. Mazzocchetti provides the Investor with superb quality of service to fulfill the investment objectives for residential, office and retail projects. Currently operates a portfolio in Argentina with a total built area of 50,000m2 comprised of three projects in different phases of execution. The largest one, Alto Grande Independencia building, located in the San Telmo area, city of Buenos Aires, with 10,000m2 of built area, experienced exceptional sales under the co-living model, with 65% of the building sold at only 2% construction progress.
Previously, Mr. Mazzocchetti completed one of the most successful real estate projects in the last decade in Montevideo, Uruguay, the Alpha Place building. The project is currently 100% completed. Prior to entering the Uruguayan market, he directed the creation of the Real Estate Investment Fund of Argo South America, an investment company oriented to residential and commercial developments in South America (Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Argentina and Chile). Between 2006 and 2008 he played a key role in the development of the real estate business for North Real Estate Opportunities Fund (NREOF), a real estate investment fund with its main focus on the Eastern European markets.
Prior to this role, Mr. Mazzocchetti worked with Fortia Asset Management, a premier real estate company based in Chicago, USA, where as a real estate analyst he specialized in real estate investments in Latin America. Mr. Mazzocchetti is a licensed architect in USA and Argentina (CPAU and CAPBA). Prior to Fortia, he worked as a chief architect at the well-known Chicago architectural firm, McDonough Associates, where he was involved in the design, construction, and project management of commercial and institutional projects. Mr. Mazzocchetti graduated in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1999 and obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago (currently Booth School of Business) ranked No. 1 MBA Program in the world in the year 2006, in which Mr. Mazzocchetti was admitted to the program.
